Worried about exposure
« on: June 29, 2017, 01:33:56 am »
Dear Sir
Because it's my first sexual encounter, I'm very paranoid. I read through hundreds of posts, it mentioned absolutely no risk but I need to hear it myself.

I had body to body massage, I was naked, the girl was topless but wearing thin underwear. Please note that I didn't engage in vaginal/oral/anal. During the massage, my bare penis may briefly came in contact with her underwear, assuming it was wet with vaginal fluid, what r my risk? There were alot of kissing, on neck, lips, and nipple. She ended the massage with handjob, worst case scenario, if I had cut on my penis and cut on her hand, what r the risk?

Consulted local GP, he said there r no risk whatsoever, even if she was completely naked. According to him, to infect me without sex..she will have to forcefully push handful of blood or vaginal fluid into my urethra. He refused to prescribe me PEP and told I don't need testing. Is this true?

You had no risk whatsoever.

HIV is sexually transmitted inside the humanbody as in never leaving the confides, like during unprotected sex, HIV is fragile and does not remain infectious once exposed to the environment. On top of that the fluids you may have come into contact with from your description do not contain HIV to begin with.

You doctor is correct you had no risk whatsoever.

Exactly what he said, she may not have had the virus.
Listen, you have been told by your doctor, by Jim and now me, this was a no risk encounter and please do not post about this again.

Dear experts,

I had possible exposure 60days ago. Due to some hiv like symptoms, decided to take HIV Ag Ab Combo test, came in as "Negative". Can this be conclusive?

You had no exposure to test for.

If you cannot move on with your life consider professional help to move you past this irrational fear.

Had vaginal sex with a women with unknown status.
I have used a condom. After ejaculation, condom still intact, but just covering glan penis, And i didnt check for holes or leaks.

Let me know the possibilities of me getting infected with hiv if vaginal fluid slip thru the condom and getting on my glan penis or possibility of  microscopic holes on the condom that I didn’t know about.

Rapid HIV and syphilis test on Day65 post exposure is negative.

I read your post three times.

HIV can't transmit through an intact latex or polyurethane condom. If a condom fails during the act of intercourse it's obvious. So as long as this obvious issue did not happen during intercourse, there is no reason to be stressing or testing for HIV outside of standard yearly routine.

So if this was your only sexual contact then relax and move on with your life.

Here's what you need to know to avoid HIV infection:
Use condoms for anal or vaginal intercourse, correctly and consistently, every time, no exceptions. Consider talking to your healthcare provider about taking PrEP as an additional layer of HIV protection

Keep in mind that some sexual practices described as ‘safe’ in terms of HIV might still pose a risk for transmission of other STI's, so please do get tested regularly and at least yearly for STI's including but not limited to HIV and test more frequently if unprotected intercourse occurs

Also, note that it is possible to have an STI and show no signs or symptoms and, the only way of knowing is by testing.

Kind regards

Jim

Hi Jim thank you for the reply

Yes Jim, only sexual contact. Although the condom slipped but it was still covering my glan penis and holding my semen. Just some anxiety and what ifs.

So it’s safe for me to move on right?

Dear experts,

Recently I had body to body massage. No vaginal or anal sex involved, and no oral sex as well.
My concern is she was naked awhile rubbing her body on mine. There were some touching of the genital, but I’m sure there was no penetration. Visited a clinic few hours after exposure, was given antibiotics shots for bacterial stds and PEP for antiviral.
Currently on the second day of the antiviral, may I ask what are my chances of getting HIV or STDs?

No vaginal or anal sex involved
...may I ask what are my chances of getting HIV
absolutely ZERO. HIV is transmitted through unprotected anal/vaginal sex or sharing injection needles.
You wasted time, money and resources getting PEP.

Have a great day,
Michael

Reducing Your HIV risks:
With no exceptions, use condoms correctly and consistently for anal or vaginal intercourse
Talk to a healthcare provider about PrEP as another layer of protection

Get tested yearly for HIV and other STIs.
If you don’t use condoms and/or PrEP, test more frequently

Some sexual practices described as safe in terms of acquiring HIV still pose a risk for other more easily acquired STIs. It is possible to show no signs or symptoms from an STI so testing is the only way to know.

Get tested at least yearly for STIs, including but not limited to HIV, and more frequently if condomless intercourse occurs.

What’s the ONLY way to know if you’ve been infected by HIV or an STI?
Get tested.

Hi all,

I’m back again with another potential exposure. I always been paranoid with my sexual exposure. Always limit my sexual exposure and can’t keep up with any relationship.

Recently had meet a girl through tinder, and she is very casual with dating and hookups. We got intimate one night, I reframe myself getting into penetrative sex and oral sex due to my extreme anxiety of HIV. But we did have mutual masturbation and kissing. At one instance, she climb on top of me, rub her wet vagina on my penis, and after awhile I stopped her. We continued with mutual masturbation.

My concern:
1. She was wet with vaginal fluid and rubbed it on my penis, is there any risk? I’m sure there was no penetration. Since vaginal fluid is highly infectious with HIV, what are my chances
2. I might have touched my penis glans right after fingering her, like less than a 1s, is there any risk?
3. How abt her handjob on me given she is having skin issues on that time.

This scenario just happened yesterday, so I’m still eligible for PEP. Please advice. I can pay for anything.

Hiya,

Read your post three times, fingering, masturbating and rubbing against each other; there was no HIV risk to you.

Relax and move on with your life.

Thank you for your reply,

Yes I was diagnosed Hypochondria, been going through CBT therapy for about a year now. Guess need to continue my therapy.

Last question, since I had no penetration, so no matter how much vaginal exposure and fluid came in contact with my penis, I have no risk right?

Hello guys,

Currently in South East Country, had a sexual encounter.
Hired a massage service lady that turns out to be a hooker. But I never did any risky activities, no oral, vaginal or anal sex. She kept pestering me for extra service, in which I only agreed to handjob and for her be topless, and insisted her to keep her panties on. She wasn’t happy about it, as the payment is low.

There are some kissing on the nipples only with handjob, and I didn’t allow her to climb on me. The room was dark, I didn’t check her hands for cuts, I didn’t notice any blood though as I wipe myself off.

Another thing I am worried about, she went to the bathroom just before the handjob, is it possible if she had vaginal fluid on her hands?

Just let say if she had vaginal fluid on her hands on purpose or cuts on her hands, What are my risk ?

I've merged a few threads above.

Since 2017, you have kept coming back regarding the same activities & fears. We have explained why it's not an HIV concern and also explained HIV prevention and safer sex.

There is nothing more we can do for you in this setting. Understand you are seeing a therapist, keep working with them, and I wish you well, but you are now banned, not only for violating the rules but also out of kindness, as this is not helping you.
