Once I got pass that stage, my life is back to normal & I fact relief knowing that “I am out of the woods”.

Ohh.... I must thanks everyone here. You all gave me lots of support.

Correction. I mean being diagnosed. I probably contracted HIV many years before 2015.

Congratulations! You've definitely come a long way since your diagnosis and all your issues!
May you have many more milestones to remember ;)

I was diagnosed also in this month 26 years ago
I got infected 36 yrs ago today (!!) and was diagnosed 28 yrs ago next month.

I also have anniversaries with both my late partners next month (well, remembrances more than anniversaries), got married to my current :) husband (he's current because he's the one alive. LOL) 4 yrs ago (the 26th), bought our first house 2 yrs ago next month, and will be refinancing the house (3% points lower interest rate!) this month. So many holidays to celebrate this time of year!

Hi Virgo313 & thank you for Your positive outlook on the 5 year mark of HIV status. This past September marked my 4 year diagnoses and I must say that it doesn't even feel like it has been that long. I don't think that anyone who has been diagnosed with HIV status will ever forget their "Day of being diagnosed" but in the same sense will not dwell on "that" day year after year. For my "Day" it was a week before my 50th Birthday so needless to say it wasn't a good Birthday year for Me. Going into my First full year of knowing my status I didn't want to survive before my 51st birthday rolled around but after that I haven't even connected the Two Dates together any longer.

It's great that you visit here and join people and hope to see/hear more from you. Take care
