Am i at risk of getting infected with HIV
« on: May 24, 2020, 01:06:04 am »
While cooking i got laceration on my finger which was 2mm width and 5 mm length not deep, skin got removed, bleeding stopped within 1 hours.
After 3 days i used the same hand for romancing a girl of unknown HIV status.

She rubbed her Vagina with her hand and used the same hand to hold mine.

i dint touched her vagina or any other activity. she touched her self and used the same hand to touch my hand.

My query when she hold my hand if the fluid on her hand  might have touched my wound, will i be at risk of HIV?

your reply help me to reduce my anxiety

No.

You did not acquire HIV from this activity.

Here's what you need to know to avoid HIV infection:
Use condoms for anal or vaginal intercourse, correctly and consistently, every time, no exceptions. Consider talking to your healthcare provider about PrEP as an additional layer of HIV protection going forward

Keep in mind that some sexual practices which may be described as ‘safe’ in terms of HIV transmission might still pose a risk for transmission of other STI's, so please do get fully tested regularly and at least yearly for all STI's including but not limited to HIV and test more frequently if unprotected intercourse occurs

Also, note that it is possible to have an STI and show no signs or symptoms and the only way of knowing is by testing.

Kind regards

Jim

Thanks for reply..

Reason for my worry was when I had the cut, skin got removed ( 2mm width, 6mm length and 2mm deep)  Showing white layer and it started bleeding. Bleeding stopped after 1 hours . My incident took 76 hours after the bleeding stopped.

Even though I dint find any fluid on my wound, my doubt is what if  the wetness on her hand might have rubbed against my wound..Will I be at risk?

Sorry for asking again...I just asking you again because I know that  you are real deal.. I respect your knowledge about this topic.

Answer from you will really ease my mind.

Thank you..

Asked and answered already.

HIV is fragile and not sexually transmitted once it's been exposed outside the confines of the human body and, not that it matters, but your cut doesn't provide route either.

Move on with your life

Sorry for disturbing again..
