Hi,...

I was on Birtarvy for a while, and can only tell you that coughing, was not a condition that I had while on it.

I would consult with your doctor on this, and see what he/she says.

Is this a dry cough ?  Or does it produce phlegm ?

Hope you feel better soon.

Coughing could be everything and nothing. Look you are going to get sick from time to time regardless of your HIV status, that's life, check with your doctor when you can and hopefully it's nothing to worry about.

Best, Jim

Hi,

As the others mentioned check with your doctor about this.

I do ask my doctors about things that have changed since the last visit and sometimes we can figure out my diet changed (not for the better), could be stress, or even a rare side effect of the combination of drugs I'm on.

Most of my issues go back to poor diet and stress but better to be honest with your doctors so if it is something odd they can fit it before it gets bad.  Even when I take my Rx's have helped.

Just work with your doctor and since you appointment is in a few weeks I hope you can make it till then.

Hi Pirata, i do not really know if you speak spanish (i do), so, theres no problem for sharing here whatever.
test for Covid if you can. The same happened to me and it was Covid apparently, since the last time with cough was at morning and a prominent headache was since a day before.
I was coughing at night for 3 weeks (some nights, not all), cough was strong like there was water into my lunges. Nasal Mometasone helped me for cough.
i havent known about couhg as a side effect for bictarvy. Please let us know how you are and what you resolve with your Dr.
regards!
