Thanks bubba, everything will get better because you aren't alone in this,we are all here and we'll support each other, even on the internet. Listening to music helps a lot calm my nerves and you should definitely check out the "song of the day" thread ❤.
I'm really glad you're ok tonny, and hope you are better now (whether it was corona or anything else).
I hope everyone does stay safe, and, like I mention above music helps to cope with all the craziness.
Hugs to all of you.

For me, I finally set up an appointment with my GP for tomorrow morning to see what can be done for me.  I kinda think if there weren't so many other issues going on right now it wouldn't be as bad.

To start - partner got picked up for an Xth DUI and won't talk to me about it.   Found out by the jail calling me.
Then - My dad Is going in for heart surgery this coming Wednesday and found out through a text

I'm so ready for a vacation but I think my first big overnight trip is going to be the July 4td weekend to Indianapolis, IN.

Myself and my Partner are doing OK. People that we know are also doing OK.

Had labs done this past week. Just for my primary.  I was a little disappointed to see
my cholesterol jumped up to 271.  I was really expecting it to be the same as last labs, or slightly improved, especially since I dropped about 9 pounds , since January.

My EgFR was good.  This is the second consecutive test, where it's been above 60, this improved number twice in a row has been since I quit Biktarvy, and went back to Viramune and Epzicom.

I have a follow up visit with my primary care on Thursday 4th, but this will be done by phone. At this time my VA clinic, is not doing a face to face visit. He will probably increase the mg of my cholesterol medication.

This coming Wednesday the 3rd, I have an echo cardiogram scheduled, Bay Pines VAMC. I have yet to see any cancellation on that appt. I will be laying on my left side facing toward the individual doing the tests for probably 20 to 30 minutes.

Masks are required at all VA hospitals and clinics. On the 10th of June, I am supposed to have a follow up with my cardiologist, right after I had the routine EKG done.

I will have to see how this works.  According to emails I received, The VA will text me at my appt. time, and I am to reply " HERE" to that text message, when I am on campus. Not sure what happens after that.

Meanwhile we're doing fine, still distancing and wearing masks, whenever we are in a public establishments. Temps are normal for both of us.

We sure are getting a lot of projects done around the house. Spending that stimulus!

Hope everyone is well---Ray  :)

Well, Had my first, two teleconferencing calls today.  Never did this before, but if I have to do this again, I want to do this on my computer instead of my phone. But it still worked out very well in the end.

As I thought would happen, my primary increased my cholesterol medication from 10mg to 40 mg a day. Otherwise all the other labs were fine. Also included was viral load which was undetectable. If I am to have any problems with the increase in atorvastatin, ( Such as muscle aches etc,.. I am to call him right away )

I then had the second teleconferencing call from my cardiologist about 45 minutes later, He told me there was no change in the ECHO, from the previous one 6 months ago. He cancelled my follow up appointment with him next week, and basically said the least amount of time I need to be in a hospital, the better off I will be.  I agreed!

My next Echo, will be in one year. But I can call sooner if problems arise.

The same with my primary,.. Next labs and visit for him will be in a year. Unless I have some sort of health issue come up, I can contact him at any time.

And finally. I was surprised by my primary doctor, when he said to me  "Don't believe what the state is telling you, that everything is OK. "  He continues, State officials, are trying to paint a rosy picture here in Florida. I can assure you from my perspective and from other medical personnel, that things are far from OK. Continue to distance and use a mask when out in public. He couldn't stress enough to me, to be careful ! He then quoted me the number of cases in the state and here in Pinellas county in particular.

(  Of course, I already knew that,  But I certainly appreciated his honesty, and it came so unexpected ) He didn't sound to pleased at all with the way Florida was reopening.

That's the latest---

Hope everyone is well ! --- Ray
