undetectable = untransmittable

if your viral load has been undetectable, you can no longer spread the virus. the circumcision is unnecessary

Hiya,

Welcome to the forum, just to check as it's unclear to me if you are living with HIV? Or are you taking PrEP and talking about reducing the risks i.e spread to yourself?

If you are living with HIV perhaps you could introduce yourself to the forum, how are you doing, what are your recent lab results like (CD4/VL) and what HIV treatment are you on? It's standard for new members.

I moved this thread & question to the prevention area, where some of the more senior forum members answer posts here like Leatherman who has already answered that if you are living with HIV,  Undetectable = Untransmittable (U=U), more details on TASP/U=U can be found here https://forums.poz.com/index.php?topic=71864.0

Let us know if you have questions about this here or if you are a PrEP user perhaps you can clarify that.

Thanks, Jim
