vrsan - microblip(c? tm?) club

Okay, i'm not even sure it belongs here anymore, but here goes...
So my last blood draw was in November, and i didn't bother asking for my numbers back then. Yesterday i went for recommended vaccinations (boy they love those things, i got three at once, and we're not done yet), and i got to take a peek at my previous results.. VL 88, yay, i have joined the microblip(c? tm?) club. CD4 also dropped by a hundred, percentage stayed the same. I'm not going to lie, it's a bit disheartening to see something like this, but my doctor is so unconcerned, they're not even going to do a retest until the scheduled one in May. According to her, they see it more commonly with wintertime tests, since people tend to go in after/during an infection.

Panic off / cautious curiosity on

Hiya,

Sorry to hear that the blip has left you feeling slightly dishearted. That sucks, you do know though that the number is relatively irrelevant ... I do think for most it gets easier after more time or at least it's less inpactful

If yes than i have joined the microblip(c? tm?) club.

Yeah, seems like a simple micro blip.
Glad to hear your doctor is unconcerned, last thing you need is an overreacting doctor causing stress over nothing.

Here is the question:

Are you taking your meds daily, correctly as directed? If the answer is "Yes" than relax and forget about it.

Well your not new to this anymore, I can move this posting on Micro Blip into living with HIV for you if you like... You are equally welcome to keep updating your original thread, totally up to you.

Hey Jim, thank you for the quick answer. I'm fully adherent, and yeah, i know it happens, but still, you always remember your first :)

You're right, it's probably better to move this blipping subplot into its own thread, so it's easier to search for. Thanks again!

Quick follow up, *drumroll*, im UD again. Who would have thought. Other numbers stayed the same as they were 6 months ago, good enough, i'll take it. I hope this topic will bring some comfort to those searching the site for "blip" and "microblip" in the future.
