I am alive!
« on: September 21, 2018, 09:41:10 pm »
Today, 5 years ago I took my very first pill for my treatment! That means That I have taken 1826 pills.... or just about 60 bottles and my treatment has cost about $181,382 dollars of which I have paid about $6,000 with insurance covering the rest...
This treatment has kept me alive for 2,629,440 minutes or 260 weeks and 6 days since that day!! I feel great, I am undetectable and CD4 over 800! It can be done! It must be done! Thank you to everyone in this group, the users and the moderators for the great advise and encouragement I have received and that has been extended to many others who, like me, are dealing with HIV. Thank you!
Today January 20, 2020, I have taken 2378 pills of my ARV since first pill. This means 79 bottles of 30 pills of ARVs at an average of $3950 per bottle or $313,103 USD for my treatment. I have a compliance of 99.83% taking my meds and only .17% (or 4 pills) non-compliant. Of these four pills two I forgot completely, One I lost and one I didn't have with me while traveling! I became UD 3 months after treatment start   ***We are all dealing with this. And we will live long and productive lives!! AND, yes the Lord is my shepherd. Life is good... And thanks for the meds! ***

Great job J!!!  I hope that you continue to be successful and healthy.  I've been on my treatment for a couple of months and hoping that I will be like you soon.

Take care
In the end everything will be ok, just give it time...
