Introduction HIVPOZ41218
« on: September 28, 2018, 11:51:04 am »
Hi, everyone. I am new here. I am Dom and I tested positive in April of this year. Not having anyone to talk to about what I am going through has been the most difficult aspect of this entire thing. Along with the constant thought of giving it to my fiancÚ, Xavier. Which, I know I cannot do because I am undetectable. But, the thought is still there. Luckily, he has been amazingly supportive and, understanding through this very difficult transition into which seems like a new life for me. Anyone willing to talk, please feel fre to respond to this message. Thank you.

Dom

welcome. As we always say, sorry you had to find us; but glad you did. ;)

What meds are you taking and when did you start taking them? I'm sure there are plenty of people around who can answer any questions you might have about treatment, etc.

tested positive in April of this year.
I know I cannot do because I am undetectable.
actually the guidelines say that you need to be UD for 6 months to be assured that you cannot transmit HIV.

I am on Descovy and Tivicay. Originally I was on Genvoya and Prezista. But, I did not feel right on them so, my doctor switched me.
