Top dipping
« on: September 16, 2018, 11:37:23 am »
Hi all

I am after some advice and reassurance.

About 3 weeks ago I was getting a massage from another man when he lubricated my penis and was sliding it up and down his bum crack.

At someplace, unbeknownst to me, it entered his anus. I'd guess it was in there for less than 10 seconds with no thrusting. Before I took it out.

His status is unknown.  I am naturally anxious as I wait for the 4 week testing period.

I am getting sore throbbing glands on my chin (not swollen). And some armpit pain.  My anxious mind is going straight to telling me I have HIV.

I understand the importance of testing, and I will.  I just wanted to know what the real risk was?

Thanks

Unprotected intercourse is a HIV risk no matter how brief hence post this incident you should test. If this was your only possible exposure the odds are in your favor.

Test for HIV at 6 weeks and again at 13 weeks post exposure with an approved antibodies test, also test for easier to transmit STIs whilst you are at it.
