You had no HIV risk

Even if she had leaked on you, and it did not happen but lets say it did for a moment well it would still not be a HIV risk.

Relax and move on with your life.

Here's what you need to know in order to avoid hiv infection:
Use condoms for anal or vaginal intercourse, correctly and consistently, every time, no exceptions.

Keep in mind that some sexual practices which may be described as 壮afe in terms of HIV transmission might still pose a risk for transmission of other STI's, so please do get fully tested regularly and at least yearly for all STI's including but not limited to HIV and test more frequently if unprotected intercourse occurs

Also note that it is possible to have an STI and show no signs or symptoms and the only way of knowing is by testing.

More information on HIV Basics, PEP, TaSP and Transmission can be found through the links in my signature to our POZ pages, this includes information on HIV Testing

Kind regards

Jim

No even if she rubbed her vagina on your penis, body, face it would not be a risk as long as your penis did not penetrate her (unprotected intercourse)

And i can go back to my gf?

What you do with your gf is up to you. I have advised using condoms to protect yourself no exceptions for a reason, unprotected intercourse is a real transmission risk as it meets all the biological conditions needed for transmission.

Hi

Indeed, no need to test over this massage as you cannot acquire hiv this way, it simply was not an exposure.

Relax and move on with your life, continue to use condoms no exceptions for any intercourse and test out of standard routine like every sexually active adukt should at least yearly for easier to transmit STIs and HIV

Hello, I知 a 23 years old male

My exposure was deep fingering a massage therapist while having a fresh cut on a finger that was red but not bleeding and recieving oral from her.

5 days later i went to my doctor because i realized how foolish I知, this doctor has 30 years of experience told me that my exposure was very very very risky because there was a number of cases that got infected like that and told me to go back after 5 days

At 10 days mark I went and got tested using the RNA PCR method and the DUO test which both came back negating

He  said this gives us a very good idea about your statues but not conclusive and then he told me to come back at 21 days mark

At 21 days mark i went back and tested for both tests and they both came back negative too

He told me that this is 99.6% accurate and I知 HIV free

What put me off is that the first DUO test had a reference number of 0.225 and the second one was 0.45???? Does this mean anything? It痴 really worrying me?

And now I知 experiencing muscle aches,  joints pain, stomach aches, and green stool

Are my tests really that accurate?
Am I HIV free?
Can I move on with my life and go back to my gf?

Please educate me guys cauz I致e been taking anxiety and sleeping pills to get me through the day

Already asked and answered. Your doctor is fucking idiot if that is what he said.

Move on with your life and use condoms to bang the missus or accept that not using one has a risk and test like everyone should at least yearly.

Kind regards and all the best

Please understand I am not going to essentially have a toilet seat discussion with you. Now I say "toilet seat" as its the same no risk whatsoever as the stuff you are posting for roundabout the same reasons as well.

Its also pointless to worry about something that can't and has not happened when your real risk can and does happen. Unprotected sex with the GF/Missues. Use condoms, test yearly, and there is nothing more we can do for you in this setting.

Jim

What about it? Its meaningless for the large part that's what.

The signal value is just background noise, each test has that and if you took 10 HIV tests from HIV negative people back to back or 10 of them yourself back to back each would have slightly different value from background noise levels, it also varies slightly on the labs calibration of the equipment etc.  It means nothing and they should stop sharing this value and just put "Negative or Reactive" on the test. It as it has no added value whatsoever to share that signal value/number with the patient

Quote
And are my tests accurate if i had a real risk

You had a real risk, your GF and the result you have so far are real.

Quote
and the symptoms I知 having

They have nothing to do with HIV and even if some of them did the test would be lighting up like an xmas tree "positive" its not because it has nothing to do with HIV to begin with.

Find yourself a different doctor, start using condoms for intercourse, test 3 months post last unprotected sex with the GF for a conclusive result. You did not get HIV from the sex workers finger that much is clear.

My last question 😅 is it true that the RNA PCR test is 99% accurate at 21 days? And the duo test would致e picked it up at 21 days too?

PCR RNA test is not needed. You had no exposure and no its not that accurate its not even part of the normal testing algorithm, its not recommend certainly not as standalone test and its no short cut to testing.

Know I truly mean you well but move on please do not post about this "imaginary" HIV risk. I get you are feeling unwell and your doctor is about 40 years outdated but its not something i am going to fix for you and I doubt anything I say will help you as this is a risk assessment forum so here is your risk assessment

Finger, fluids and vagina rub sexworker = No HIV risk whatsoever, its never happened and lacks the conditions needed for your to acquire HIV

Sex with your GF = Meets all the conditions needed for HIV transmission, we understand the how and it has happened and been documented that its happened.

Please do not post about this again. I mean it for your own sake

Look you are sexually active and fucking without a condom, even with condom usage you should be testing for STI;s and HIV regularly (at the very least yearly) as condoms do not fully protect against contact viruses as example (skin to skin). HIV BTW is not one of the skin to skin/skin to wound issues in the real would however   condoms do fail and to be honest patients often lie about their true risks meaning doctors do test.

Also doctors will test to give patients peace of mind even when its not needed (according to what the patient reported)

To be honest I would have tested you,  be happy and move on with your life.
If the current doctor can't or had not resolved your issue than I would personally move onto the next doctor. to get treatment for whatever is making you sick

Hope you feel better soon.

The only exposure you had was the GF. Your symptoms have nothing to do with HIV
Move on with your life. Use condoms and test yearly out of standard routine.

Please do not post about this again, its excessive to begin with and there is nothing more we can do for you in this setting. If you continue to post about your irrational concerns or symptoms its will lead to a 28 day ban
