A) In a perfect world ... Hotel room, rock music pumping, 12 pints of Guinness, and 3 or 4 bi-sexual hookers and a forgiving GF.

However in the real world ... kids that go to bed early, a babysitter to leave them with, the fire place going and a few cold alcohol free beers and the GF nude on the sofa.

A I re-purchased my favourite book ever, called 'This thing of darkness' by Harry Thompson. It really is a tremendous book and highly recommended - it's about the voyage of The Beagle and covers the lives of Robert Fitzroy and Charles Darwin at the time. It sounds dry, but it's written in an amazingly exciting way and is very un-put-downable (hence buying multiple copies)

A) A women...

Next to that perhaps the nerve pain in my legs, ranges normally from being electrocuted down the nerve so badly you want to collapse and dribble on the floor to molten lava being poured down the inside of your bones, or on good days you just want to rip the flesh off your leg from the aching.

A.  When I broke my big toe.  (I tripped down the stairs and, literally, landed with all my 200+lbs on the tip of my toe)  See pic taken about 3 hrs after it happened - it looked much worse the next day.

Q.  If you had one use of a time machine, what would you go back and do differently? (to make this interesting -- you can't say "avoid HIV infection").
