Financial Assistance for Lypodystrophy treatment
« on: February 25, 2015, 05:24:53 pm »
Does anyone know of any resources for financial assistance for lypodystrophy treatment?

I discovered two resources online though neither of them suit my needs at the moment:
1. Co-Pay Relief provides funds for coverage of Sculptra and other facial wasting treatments PROVIDED your insurance also covers a portion. www. copays. org (no spaces.)
2. Many of you may already know about Sculptra Patient Access Program through Valeant Pharmaceuticals which provides Sculptra kits direct to the doctor based on financial need and a short application

But does anyone know of any OTHER financial assistance programs for this treatment?

Unfortunately they consider it cosmetic !
I was in the clinical trials for sculptra in 2000
Was known then as new fill , still was expensive and didn't last long
At least not for me.

I had a hump the size of a small football surgically removed.
Could hardly put my head back all the way,
No help from insurance on that one either.
Some are however getting some help with egrifta

Good luck , Wade
