its about your health

It’s about your health….
What: a day of health info and networking.                                                              Where: The Neil Christie Living Center
When: end of March or April
Who: everybody
 Time: to be determined

This is to be a day of health and life skills and
capacity building for PLWA/H , their care providers, family and friends.

On this day we hope to achieve a better awareness of where we are with our health and how to manage it.
It is intended that this also involves connecting with other ppl to hopefully create a stronger sense of community in Santa Clara County .

During this day speakers and workshops such as nutrition, treatment adherence, crystal meth and HIV, coping with depression will be offered as well as hands on retreat type activities such as rakie, meditation, aqua chi .depending on the turnout there may be brake out sessions to further discuss topics. they may just happen naturally.
It is also intended that this helps to serve as an introduction to The Living Center and the services offered there to ppl who may not be aware of what happens there. This is the plan…
If you are a person who can contribute to this day in anyway or if you know someone that would be good to include….please let my self or Greg know so we can start to compose the agenda for the day.
I will be hunting some of you down directly….but if I don’t please don’t feel like you were over looked. And if you are not approached in person PLEASE don’t sit back and do nothing. we need as many ppl involved as possible. as soon as I nail down a date with Maryanne you will know. we are looking for the last week in March or the first one in April I am sending this out early so that you have a bug in your ear about it .Aris has been gone for a while now and its time to pull things back together, activities such as this are on way that we could think of to try to fill the community gap that its loss created…..thank you( this is a san jose cali. event)
