Trump will likely get an appointment through before the end of his term.

I'm wondering how this will affect the upcoming ruling by the Supreme Court on the constitutionality of the ACA (aka Obamacare).

Hope the Dems fight like hell to keep her seat vacant until after the election, I think she would have wanted that.

If people, of either party, approached Public Service like RBG - who wasn't interested in how best to help herself, but rather to ensure those behind her had more equal opportunity -- our country would be in a far better place.

Unfortunately, the Dems have absolutely no say in the matter right now.  I hope that a handful (at least 4) Republican Senators, find it in themselves to take Alaska's Lisa Murkowski's cue and be consistent here.  Murkowski has, reportedly, already said that she will not vote for any SCOTUS confirmation until the next President is inaugurated.

Some Republicans have commented that vote Shd be only after election. Hope it happen. A tie will not be good as VP will hv the final vote. So so looking for at least 4 would wait till after election. I will pray to my grandmother that orange head loses.
