Hi, I noticed you had no responses to this. I will try to answer what I can.

Because each state decides how to use its Ryan White Funding (what it will and won't pay for) it is hard to be definite.

But, my experience has been if it isn't clinically necessary, Ryan White assistance won't pay for it.

I would check with an ASO near to you to find out more about what is covered in your location.

HUGS,

Mark

I think they would classify that as cosmetic and wouldn't cover it.   I have like a wine stain discoloration on my scalp and I had it tested to make sure it was not anything dangerous, they did a biopsy and it was fine, but the prescribed cream for it was not covered by Medicare.

If it is disfiguring, I am guessing that you could look into what a doctor might say or a psychiatrist if it's causing you mental anguish, but I doubt they would do it.  You might try a teaching hospital.
Pray God you can cope
