HASA/Congregate housing?
« on: July 07, 2014, 05:46:55 PM »
OK so ever since my diagnosis back in march of this year...everything has gone downhill for me...told the lady (81 years of age) who i was staying with and taking care of for 2 years, told her i was positive and it was like shit hit the fan.

she basically forced me out of the apartment by changing the locks...what took me to leave was that one night she was not there on purpose to open the door and my Meds were in the house!!!! i just said fuck it and decided to go through HASA to get placed in a emergency SRO!

And lord Jesus Mary and Joesph is this place a nightmare!!!!! this place is the gutta i mean drugs in and out this place like clockwork!!!! all these people do is spend all there SSI money on drugs and feed off of each other for drugs!!! there like zombies!!
(its a neurotic toxic society)
the worst part is the bathrooms( you don't wanna know)

so my question is should i consider congregate housing untill i can find permanent independant housing? Im kinda neutral about congregate housing because after a week of me staying in the SRO i figured that if i go into congregate housing i would be surrounded by the same activity going on where i am now, it would just be a cleaner building. Im just a 20 year old boy trying to finish college in the city of new york but its needs to be in a clean peacefull enviroment.

if anyone knows any advice please let me know i would truly and honestly appreciate it!!

in other news after me being on my prezista regimen for a month my VL went from 78k to 306 copies and my cd4 went from 374 to 530 so im very pleased by that
