  • Hi...
Yay, it's summer time!
« on: June 06, 2014, 06:53:45 PM »
Father's Day is going to be great! My daughter and I planned to make a yellow cake with fresh strawberry filling and lemon frosting. Fourth of July we plan to grill some sirloin steaks. So we have plans.
And since today was my daughter's last day of school for the summer, I get to sleep in every morning until August 25.
We also get to hack down some shrubs that I may be allergic to. They are the size of small trees. The last owners really did terrible work on fixing up this home!
No matter, we like to work on our home. It's fun, my husband is a retired landscape designer so he has awesome plans. I have my work gloves and a pair of gardening gloves. Either way I am ready.
We are fixing the house for sale next spring. Then we move to Washington. Yay!!! I miss a large city with a good and large selection of businesses.
