Please help me. I am worried whether I am infected or not
« on: May 20, 2014, 02:38:33 PM »
Dear Friends,

Hope you are all doing well.

I am in a much tensed situation and didnít sleep for the past 3 days. I will explain the situation and please help me out with a proper guidance.
Three days before I had sexual intercourse with a lady in Dubai. She told that she is from Somalia. At first I asked whether she is having Aids and she said no to me. After that she kissed twice on top of my lips and then I did fingering for her and she was wet inside. But after fingering, immediately I touched my penis head (No Condom at that time) very close to urethra and top of urethra with the same finger and then I touched her breast with the same finger which I used for fingering. After that I sucked the same breast many times. But I did sex with her by using 2 condoms at a time. At last again she kissed on top of my lips. I am not sure whether she is affected with HIV and I am totally afraid for what I did because this for the first time I had sex. Do I have to go for a test?

Kindly help me out in this because I am afraid and lost my sleep for the past 3 days. I am fully tensed and regretting for what I did.

Waiting for your response.

Thanks and Regards

Christy, you are worrying needlessly. HIV is a fragile virus and is not transmitted in any of the several ways you have mentioned. In fact the only confirmed risks for the sexual transmission of HIV are unprotected vaginal and anal intercourse. As long as you consistently use condoms for those activities you will be effectively protected.

There's no need for testing. Get on with your life.

Thanks a lot Andy for your prompt response.

I have nothing to worry right because i touched on the urethra with the same finger which i used for fingering and she was wet.

No, you did not have a risk.  But you need to stop using 2 condoms at once for intercourse.  One is all you need and using 2 does not provide twice the protection.  Condoms are designed to be used one at a time.
