I am new to the forum have been reading posts since I was first diagnosed . Just wanted to share my story. I am still adjusting to the fact that I am poz. My heart sank when the doctor told me i can still see his face and hear the words . But everyday is a new day and I am taking it day by day.  Hoping to meet some new people to help me on my new journey.

Hi Cupc, welcome to the forums.  You've found a group of great people who offer some wonderful support.

I'm on Stribild also.  I haven't had many side effects that I know of; I'm on so many different meds it's hard to tell what causes what side effect.  It's wonderful that you're already undetectable!

I understand your feelings when diagnosed.  I felt the same way, though I was diagnosed many years ago.  But, I remember, and can sympathize.  My first husband died around the time I was diagnosed, so it was like a double whammy.  He didn't know he was poz, too bad of an alcoholic.

Everything you're feeling is normal, everyone experiences an adjustment period.  It sounds, though, like you're very proactive which will do well for you.

You may want to say a little more about yourself, what you do in life, things like that?   I'd love to hear more!

Hi Betty thanks for the warm welcome . I am a nurse and mother of 2 girls . They keep me going . It's just so hard some days are good some not so good . I got my numbers backs and they are great but i still can't believe this is my life. I have good support but it's nice to talk to someone that is going through the same thing.

Just want to say welcome and that I too think approach your is very powerful , I am also somewhat over awed at the thought off being a parent off 2, working and dealing with this . If I was not hopelessly Gay and Betty turned me down I think the only thing I could say is will you marry me. Though my advice would be a firm NO.
Still honesty best policy ,I look forward to your Posts .
