New +\- couple... Questions about safe sex..
« on: March 09, 2014, 11:18:04 pm »
My long distance boyfriend is recently diagnosed hiv + (he had a encounter with someone several months ago that I knew about... Condom broke and so on)

This week was the first week we have spent together since he became positive (I've had 2 negative tests this far) we did not have sex this visit since he is not on meds yet and is very worried about transmission. We mostly kissed and fooled around some (with a condom on) with no penetration at all... (I'm a female btw)

I have read a lot of conflicting things about what is safe... We plan to use a condom if  i perform oral sex on him... Is it safe for him to perform oral sex on me? He is bisexual and a large part of our sex life has always involved my using a strap on on him... Is it safe for me to handle toys I have used on him? Do I need to wear gloves to penetrate him with my hand? Should we get a seperate set of toys? Can I perform analingus on him? All this would be after starting meds I'm sure...  Where is the best place to get information? The CDC website seems to contradict things I read elsewhere.

I'm new to this situation... But I really love him and I want this to work :)
