While we are seeing what feels like an ever increasing reduction in support for LGBT across the world, and something of a religious backlash underway in so-called civilised societies,
that's a bit of hyperbole. While the issues in Uganda, Russia and Arizona are very troubling, same-sex employment protections and marriage are sweeping America.

This is so that treatment is seen as a benefit to the individual, and not to aid anyone else or further their agenda.
that's a noble cause but clearly impractical to ever implement in a society using money. There are issues of funding, limited resources, the cost of treating a patient, and the overhead for running a clinic, doctor office, pharmacy, etc. I'm not saying that solutions can't be found to some of these issues; but I'm not so bleeding-heart-libel to understand that it costs someone to treat patients and it's not just political reasons why people don't receive proper treatment.
