A short break....
« on: December 12, 2013, 10:33:05 AM »
...but not much relief.

The raccoon was picked up on Tuesday by animal control. Now I know why they kept saying...don't go near it. I got pretty wild, and of course i was no help, not that he asked for any.

I did take the shovel and shoveled a path through the ice in front of the garage.

The Nursing Home has finally started working on the agenda from Katie's last Care Meeting. They got her up in her chair and she ate in the dining room.

From there she went to Physical Therapy in an actual gym instead of pushing and pulling with her lying in the bed.

She got a shower in the shower and not in her bed. And they had finally put a cover over the drain that was recessed in the floor and had very sharp edges which has caught Katie's big toe twice, resulting in losing the nail, which is growing back.

Daniel and Lisa are showing up without bringing food. He was in high spirits as they must be getting some kind of serious as he kept referring to her 14 yr old son as being their son.

I did a double take, but did not pursue the questions that popped in my head. They've only been an item for 2 months.

Now my sister Terry is calling and has decided to swap gifts and wanting to know what I want....I'm lucky as I already know what she wants..a bottle of wine..and it can be found at Trader Joe's.... ;D
