Had sex with HIV+ person. Am I at risk?

Hello,

So, on May 10th, I had sex with this guy. At first, we kissed and practiced oral sex on each other, he sometimes lick and insert his fingers in my anus. We then had PROTECTED sex, he ejaculated outside my anus. But after that, I felt itchy inside my anus, I afraid there might be a cut inside because I have hemorrhoid.

A few days later, we had sex again. This time, when he licked and fingered me, I can clearly feel the cut inside my anus.
 
What really driving me crazy is that on May 21st, he texted me and said his HIV test came back Positive. I'm really stressed out because of this. I really feel sorry for him and at the same time I'm worrying for myself, too.

Am I at risk from receiving or giving blowjob and having my anus licked and fingered? I'm really scared because I brushed my teeth and tongue kinda hard before having sex and having a cut in my anus. Should I go for a test and when is the right time for the test.

You had no risk in the scenario you presented. Brushing teeth - even if they bleed - does NOT provide sufficient damage to ocvercome the powerful HIV neutralizing properties of saliva. Google "meth mouth" if you want to see the level of poor hygeine necessary to even contemplate an oral risk for HIV, and that is more because meth use inhibits saliva production in addition to creating huge open sore in the mouth and gums.

And, of course, receiving oral sex from an HIV positive guy presents no risk, as saliva is not infectious. Moreover, as I mentioned before, saliva contains over a dozen identified elements that neutralize HIV and render it impossible to infect. Please do not pay attention to outdated, obsolete and frankly bigoted sites that try to make HIV seem like some invincible force. It's not. It's a very fragile virus and can only reasonably be transmitted through unprotected anal and vaginal sex.

There have been no fewer than three separate serodiscordant studies done. One lasted ten years, one five, and one three. In these studies, condoms were used for anal and vaginal sex but no barrier at all was used for oral activity or any kind. These studies followed people on and off meds, with viral loads ranging from UD to the millions.

You had protected anal sex, which is the most important thing you can do with any partner of unknown status. That protects you from HIV.

Every sexually active adult who is not in a committed monogamous relationship needs to have a full STD panel  (including, of course, an HIV test) every six months. This is the responsible thing you do for yourself AND your partners.

However, you do not need to schedule an HIV test specifically over this encounter.
