Hi all, I recently received a blow job from sex worker.
We didn't use protection (stupid me). What scares me is that after blow job I noticed a fresh blister on her lip. It looked like a herpes and was wet looking.
Do I have to test myself due to this?

Jargon, receiving oral sex is one of the most common of sexual activities. In the entire history of the epidemic there has never been a confirmed case of transmission to a guy through his getting a blowjob.

It's safe to say you are not going to make history by becoming the first. There is no need for HIV testing.

Just remember to always use condoms for vaginal and anal intercourse. Those are the only confirmed risks for HIV transmission.

Get on with your life. You have no cause for concern about HIV this time.

Getting a blow job can result in a herpes infection but its still not a risk for HIV . No one has ever been infected from getting a bj and you will not be the first .

If you cant accept it then go test and collect your negative result and you will feel better .

You are HIV negative . A healthcare provider is not going to hide a positive hiv test from you . If you are sick go back to your doctor and find out why .... its not hIV .

ALSO ... you never had a risk to begin with .
