OMG ! It's a flood....
« on: June 24, 2012, 05:17:35 PM »
 :o  I'm a gettin a scared !   :)

Tropical storm Debbie, has been wreaking havoc, throughout Florida. Tornado warnings are now in effect, there's plenty of beach erosion taking place, and the wind seems to have kicked up a couple notches.  :P

I emptied the rain gauge at 2:00 this afternoon, because it was full. It collected 5 inches of rain in 6 hours.

I emptied it again @ 5:00 ( 3 hours later) with another full 5 inches of rain , and no relief in site.

I have to go into work tonight at 10:00, it will give me a chance to see what kind of flooding is taking place.  The good thing is, that work is only 5 miles from where I live.

The local weather guys just stated we could get as much as 2 feet of rain, by the time this is over.
