Receiving oral sex is not a risk for HIV.
"Many people, especially in the gay community, turn to oral sex as a safer alternative in the age of AIDS. And with HIV rates rising, people need to remember that oral sex is safer sex. It's a reasonable alternative."

Receiving oral sex is one of the common of sexual activities. In the entire history of the epidemic no guy has ever been confirmed to have been infected in that manner. You will not make history by becoming the first. There is no need for further concern about this incident nor for testing.

What you need to know is that the only confirmed risks for the sexual transmission of HIV are unprotected vaginal and anal intercourse. Use condoms consistently for those activities and you will be well protected.

Our focus here is strictly on HIV and in relation to HIV you did not have any risk.

But if you are active sexually outside of your relationship then it's a good idea at least once a year to have a full STD panel done because other STDs are much easier to acquire than HIV. So keep that in mind.
