ok...i got some good news this morning to share
« on: September 22, 2006, 12:19:14 PM »
i had read here in this forum a few days ago someone suggested to someone else to have there doctor run a test to see if they had a resistant form of the virus now so they will be better prepared now to know what they may be looking at in the future.
so...i called my doctor first thing today and she told me she had already run the test and i do not have the resistant variation.
im posting this because i wanted others who may not know that they can run this test to have the knowledge so they can check with their doc too.
too quote one of my favorite lines from my favorite musical...

Heres to people living with living with living with not dying from disease.
Love to all,
theres only us
theres only this
forget regret
or life is yours to miss
no other road
no other way
no day but today!

That's great news for you, Jeff. And good that you are drawing the attention of others to being able to check on potential resistance.

Now, go and and continue singing out, Louise! Uh, I mean, Jeff.

Thank you for this post, Jeff.
I have known about the resistant strain of this virus, but I've never thought to ask my doctor if she's had me tested to see if I have it or not.

I  had just assumed that she did.
Now I'm going to be sure to ask about this specifically. ;D
