I know I'm not wanted here
« on: November 08, 2011, 08:02:31 PM »
I'm going through a very real threat at work. Two closeted gays want me terminated. It sounds ridiculous but it's true.

You all attacked me last year but it's still going on and I feel defenseless I've been openly gay living with HIV and this twink just graduated from college has been told to not trust me. I've contacted both my HR Rep, Diversity HR Rep and the head of the Gay Employees Association.

The insults from AIDSMEDS.com don't bother me. You are not in my shoes.  You are only judging me without knowing me. Again, I'll never be at another gathering.

Thank you for your lack of support!

Larry, life is a two way street. People on these forums have tried to support you time and time again, but you just refuse the help offered you. We've tried.

There's only so much one can do when someone won't meet you half-way. Larry, you have refused to meet us half-way time and time again.

I have no idea what you want from us and to be honest, you are on the verge of a permanent ban.

HIV is certainly character-building. It's made me see all of the shallow things we cling to, like ego and vanity. Of course, I'd rather have a few more T-cells and a little less character. Randy Shilts

Like Ann I don't know what you would like here, Larry. What would constitute "support" for you in this setting?

I do think it is good you have been in contact with HR and the Gay organization. I'm wondering if you have also consulted with a therapist or other such professional to get help with dealing with these challenges.
