Smooth Transition ?
« on: September 18, 2006, 08:15:01 AM »
Last month my doc deciced that I shpould go from Truvada and Sustiva to Atripla.  I really didn't care because my adhearrence was good. I thought there would be no difference since I have been on Sustiva since Sept 03. And already been through the hoops with Susutiva.

Now I am experiencing weird dreams unlike any I had on Sustiva. My sleeping pattern has changed , where I go through a weird dream, wake up try and fall back to sleep and another weird dream, wake cycle.
I wonder why am I experiencing this reaction? Considering my body should be used to these drugs already. Anyone else have  new reactions to the switch?

I changed from Epzicom, Lexiva and Norvir to Atripla. The dreams do wake me from time to time, but what I really like is the high I get if I eat the right foods when taking Atripla.  ;D

The dreams can be fun too and quite entertaining!  ;D  ;D

IMHO, I hope neither of these side effects ever go away.  ;D  ;D  ;D

Started Atripla 8/18/06 and if I eat the right food when I take my meds, I get to go on a-trip-la.

Some people do experience side effects when they switch from Truva/Sustiva to Atripla. I guess every body body reacts differently for medication.
