Another year

3 years ago today i was told that my HIV test was reactive ...positive
it seems a long time ago now , a lot has happened , the first year was bad really just existing from day to day , the second year felt even worse and i was forced to confront my demons and seek professional help and this last year has been in comparison a really good year, im happier and more positive in my thinking than i have been fo many years i have a man by my side who has been a great source of support since we met almost a year ago.

i would like to thank those who supported and helped me over the last 2 years

Poz since '93. Currently on Procrit, Azithromax, Pentamidine, Valcyte, Levothyroxine, Zoloft, Epzicom, Prezista, Viread, Norvir, and GS-9137 study drug. As needed: Trazodone, Atavan, Diflucan, Zofran, Hydrocodone, Octreotide

5/30/07 t-cells 9; vl 275,000

Good to hear from you, and I am glad that things are going much better for you. Congratulations on year three, and many more to go !! Life certainly has it's struggles at times. That favorite line" One day at a time" always applies...

Current Meds ; Viramune, Epzicom, 20mg of Atorvastatin, 25 mg of Hydrochlorothiazide.
Amlodipine Besolate 5mg-- Updated 9/24/2017

Diagnosed positive in 1985,.. In October of 2003, My t-cell count was 16, Viral load was over 500,000, Percentage at that time was 5%. I started on  HAART on October 24th, 2003.

 As of 9/18/2017,  Viral load remains <40
CD 4 @358 /  CD4 % @ 13

 66 years young.

Congratulations Garry!  I'm only into this 8 months and have already met a few demons.  Hopefully I've learned enough from some of the others here to move forward more smoothly.  I do appreciate all of you "trailblazers" from whom I've learned so much.  It is very comforting to hear you say that during year 3 things seemed to settled down and you are on a smooth sailing course now. Thanks for sharing!
