Good move- "The Illusionist"
« on: September 04, 2006, 10:53:54 PM »
I went with some friends in the neighborhood tonight to dinner at London Lennie's, a restaurant Zagat once rated as one of the 10 best in New York outside Manhattan...We had a nice dinner and then went to see "The Illusionist" starring Edward Norton, Paul Giamatti and Jessica Biel.

It was a nicely done film about an illusionist (played very intensely by Norton)around the turn of the 20th century and his relationships with the nobility in Vienna.  I would highly recommend it, we all enjoyed it a great deal.

"Wake up to find out that you are the eyes of the world".
"Try to discover that you are the song that the morning brings."

Thats one I also want to see. And THE WICKER MAN looks good too. Its a remake. The original Wicker Man was the weirdest movie. Cant imagine how the remake will be like. And there's always SNAKES ON A PLANE for that cheap drive-in movie fix.

I could not remember where I seen the guy that played the "witness" in Snakes on a plane. Then I realized he was also in WOLF CREEK. (a cutie!)
