You Spin Me Round, And This Is A Trip

Some of you may have already seen this.  I had no idea Pete Burns from "You Spin Me Round" fame had totally changed his looks.  He has totally gone hog-wild with the plastic.  I'm not sure if he's going for a Cher look or the Octomom.

This is an interview from the UK with Burns:

The Best (worst?) part of this interview was that he completely blames the doctor for his appearance.

I saw him a year or two ago at the last stage, and he explained in more detail and showed pics of the "surgery disaster".  I think at one point he risked losing his face entirely due to the "botched job".  I am quite sure its a two way street - it seems that the job that was botched was indeed botched and he sufferred a lot, but he doesnt talk about how many he had done before the botched job, and how it must have been himself who had shopped and pushed for even more work.

And now this latest transformation is absolutely horrific!  A work of art.  Pity he is of no interest whatsoever for his musical talent.

I never heard of that guy until he was on the UK's Celebrity Big Brother in 2006. I wondered what he looked like before he messed around with his face but didn't care enough to google him.

HIV is certainly character-building. It's made me see all of the shallow things we cling to, like ego and vanity. Of course, I'd rather have a few more T-cells and a little less character. Randy Shilts

Maybe it's the outfit, but he sort of reminds me of the puppet guy from the Saw movies and it's a bit creepy. To each his own, though.  :P
