worried about my brother
« on: September 25, 2010, 02:33:44 PM »
I’m worrying about my brother and his alcohol consumption . I received an email from my mother today . A lot of unimportant stuff and a story of my brother being drunk and not remembering anything . She doesn’t seem to be too concerned but every information about him I get  via email sounds the same , he’s annoyed by his girlfriend and drunk . The problem is that he’s not happy in that relationship . His girlfriend is very –how do I put it – difficult . She’s very insecure , I think, and her vision of a relationship involves two people spending every second together. That means my brother is not allowed to be with his friends or go to a party (she doesn’t like parties) without her making a scene , she’s “suffocating” him .  He’s frustrated and angry and pissing everybody off. Sometimes he wants to break up and then he always takes it back . He’s 25 , he’s not a teenager , but this is still his first serious relationship . It’s not like he had trouble getting a girlfriend , more like keeping one for more than 3 weeks . He’s not ugly and he knows it.  ;D  I also  think he really doesn’t know how to get out of a relationship . So it’s fight with girlfriend , getting drunk , apologizing to girlfriend for bad behaviour , screaming at my mother  because she’s just in the same room with him and getting drunk again
