This holiday goal: stay out of the hospital
« on: May 28, 2010, 10:49:09 AM »
It's been almost 6 months since my heart attach (12/24/2009), they actually had to revive me in the Emergency lobby. I went to the cardiologist this week to have a 24 hour heart monitor test.  The results of last weeks nuclear stress test were great and they decided not to do the heart monitor after all.  Next follow-up is 08/25/2010.

My PCP changed my epivir/zerit meds to Truvada 2 months ago when I had my annual physical.  They took 10 vials of blood that visit.  CD4: 975, Viral Load: <50 HBV: 1000. So far so good but Truvada and two other meds cause dizziness but it mostly lasts just an hour.  A few days it lasts longer. Due to another little gift the guy I lived with in 1986 (Long Beach) I'm also on Acylovir that causes stomach aches.  Norvir with Prezista is a wild ride some days and I never know when the side affects will kick in. Oh well.

I really enjoy reading the threads here and hope you all have a good Memorial Day weekend.
Tested POZ in 1986, knew there was something wrong in 1985. 04/2010 CD4: 975 Viral Load undetectable. Prezista, Norvir, Truvada, Acyclovir, Plavix, Lisinopril, Metoprolol and a bedtime snack of Lipitor (YUM)
