Labs, up and down...good news.
« on: June 01, 2006, 06:39:49 pm »
I received my latest lab results today.  A bit of a relief for me.  I was so afraid....

I tested positive on 4/24/06, I was bleeding internally, I had low platelets 10,000, Viral Load of 40,800, CD4 of 339 17%.  I started on Sustiva and Truvada and received IGIV therapy which raised my blood platelets to 26,000 and stopped the bleeding on 5/5/06.

Today's labs, Viral Load 181, CD4 342 19% and platelets at 27000.  Now I don't have to go back for two months.  Yeah!

Thank you all for your support.  It's been a long month.
