HIV Regimen With Fourth Drug Added
Doesn't Improve Treatment

"People with the infection that leads to AIDS fared no better in a study when a fourth drug was added to a standard ``cocktail'' of three.

The human immunodeficiency virus, or HIV, remained suppressed in more than 80 percent of cases after three years, regardless of whether the extra medicine was included, according to a report to be published in this week's Journal of the American Medical Association. GlaxoSmithKline Plc's abacavir was usually the fourth drug in the tests."

I wonder which one I can drop......

Current Meds ; Viramune / Epzicom , 20 mg of Atorvastatin, 25 mg of Hydrochlorothiazide.
Amlodipine Besolate 5mg-- Updated 7/15/20

Diagnosed positive in 1985,.. In October of 2003, My t-cell count was 16, Viral load was over 500,000, Percentage at that time was 5%. I started on  HAART on October 24th, 2003.

 As of July 8th,20,  Viral load remains Undetectable

CD 4 @589 /  CD4 % @ 17 %
