Male couples HIV study seeks participants (SF Bay Area)
« on: June 03, 2009, 12:57:18 PM »
Hi forum members:

The DUO Project at the UCSF Center for AIDS Prevention Studies is still seeking male couples for an HIV study. If you or your partner are taking HIV meds, you may be eligible to participate in DUO. Couples can be of same or discordant HIV statuses. Compensation is involved.

Our contact info is located at the end of this message. As we are located in San Francisco, CA, this study may be of particular interest to SF Bay Area residents. If you have any questions at all, or to screen, give us a call! Also, feel free to forward our information to any other interested couples.

Thanks again for your time, and thanks to Tim for letting our project post our information in the forum.

DUO Project

Are you in a male couple relationship? The DUO Project needs your help! We are enrolling male couples where either one or both men are currently taking HIV medications.

You and your partner will be asked to come in for interviews regarding HIV-related issues. Participants are compensated and interviews are confidential. The purpose of this project is to understand how men in couple relationships interact and make decisions around their HIV medications.

For more information and to find out how you and your partner can enroll, call the DUO Project today at toll-free (877) DUO-6292 (877-386-6292) or (415) 597-9322. Even if you and your partner were previous participants in DUO, you may be eligible to re-enroll.

This is a project of the Center for AIDS Prevention Studies, San Francisco, CA. All interviews are on-site in San Francisco, CA.
