Having looked at the 18 posts you've made in two days, I'm compelled to ask a number of questions. First, regarding adoption, are you just looking ahead to a want to become a parent and wondering if there are restrictions? If not, and it's something you want to do soon, how, if you intend to be a student in the fall and don't appear as yet to have a confirmed diagnosis, would you manage being a parent and student?

You can adopt if you're gay and if you're HIV positive, but it won't necessarily be easy. Adoption, no matter your sexuality or health status, is a very intense process.

May I make a suggestion? Get your near-term important questions answered first...whether or not you're positive; if so, will you need meds; do you have health insurance (mandatory if you intend to adopt); will you be enrolling in school?; do you have sufficient income (there are minimum income requirements in order to adopt); adoption is a closely watched process and you must meet so many requirements.

Do you want a healthy child?; special needs? infant or toddler or teen?
