Another kissing question
« on: January 12, 2009, 10:53:49 AM »
Hello.  I posted this  in the Medhelp website, but wanted to know anyone's thoughts here.

I am sorry to throw another kissing question at you, but I believe this is a bit odd.  I am currently in an E Asian country with a relatively low incidence of HIV.  I have a a cut or a split in the crack of my lip for the last couple of weeks.  I belive it is a cold sore, but no puss or anything, just a split or cut.  Some blood when I open my mouth wide.

Anyway, I went to a bar/brothel here and met up with a really cute girl.  We did not engage in sex, but we did engage in mutual masterbation and wet kissing.  In the morning after, I took a look at the mirror and saw that there was some dried blook where my cold sore/split is on my lip.  It must have been due to the deep kissing.

I realize that kissing is a very low risk for HIV, but I am concerned about the bloody cold sore/cut.  I am also concerned about where my cute friend's mouth has been before we hooked up.  We were together for about 30 mins before kissing, but I am pretty sure that she engaged in blow jobs/kissing with other customers before she met me.

Finally, I did tell this girl about my cold sore.  She said she already had them.

Any advise would be appreciated.

It doesn't matter what details you throw into the kissing mix. Kissing of any sort, deep and otherwise, is not a risk for HIV transmission. Period.
