Worried - opinion please
« on: December 09, 2008, 08:50:12 PM »

I engaged in mutual masturbation 3 weeks ago with a guy that I met on line.  While I was jerking him off he reached around fingered me with the tip of his finger.  He did not go very deep but I do not know if he had pre-cum on his finger or not, or a cut for that matter as it was somewhat dark in the hotel.   He came in his own hand as I did in mine.  I also probably had some fissures as noticed spots of blood on the toilet paper around the same time (looking back I dont know if it was the same day).

Do I have a risk of HIV?

I have been freaking out and can't seem to get my mind at ease. I took a full suite of STD tests last week and all was clear.  I know its too early to pick up HIV at 2 weeks so I can't really trust the result of that one but I am not sure I can get to 12 with the way I have been worrying.

To compound the matter, I am a married guy and besides being a jerk for doing it I don't know how I can get away with not having sex for the next 3 months without looking suspicious.

You were never at risk of contracting HIV or STDs by fingering and masturbation.

I don't want to be one of those folks who keep saying "but" and not letting it rest, but is this still the case if I had some fissures and he had precum?

one thing I also left out is that I had a somewhat decent hangnail and probably got some precum on that....

Thanks for the assistance.

Reread my orginal reply. Doesn't matter if you had a hangnail, nicks, or small cuts.

You need to know that the only scientifically confirmed risks sexually with regard HIV is via unprotected vaginal and anal sex. Everything else that people worry about is strictly only risky in theory. In the real world of HIV it's about unprotected intercourse.

Any variations you can come up with about masturbation, fingering, being fingered, kissing, nicks, cuts, bruises and such are all absolutely not risks for HIV transmission. Zero risk.

You are worrying needlessly. Get on with your life. Really.
