So its been a while since I posted. Had my quarterly checkup today. It was a full on medical day. Had like 9 vials drawn, had my flu shot. Had a dentist appointment, filling replaced. Have to take antibiotics and penicillin. Also taking antibiotic cream for bad chafing from bike riding. Took that up a few months ago and liking it. Not as much as running, but its good exercise and gets me to places I don't normally go to.

Had my Selzentry (Pfizer) study unblinded today after just over 3 years. My Doctor and I kind of knew that I was getting the real deal. So, I get to drop the fake pill and now take 2 in the morning and three in the evening (third is Truvada) Selzentry has been GREAT. No side effects whatsoever. It is a twice a day regimen but I am very used to that by now. Went to my first ever BCPWA (British Columbia Persons with Aids) meeting last night. Interesting mix of people. I had gone to a meeting after first being diagnosed, but I was not ready for that kind of environment then, I am now.

So all in all, comfortable in my skin with the situation. Wish I could take some time off though and recreate, but the real estate market is in the toilet so can't sell any assets right now. Oh well.

Thanks for returning, and posting this update.  Glad to hear Selzentry is treating you well.  Since it's relatively new, we don't hear from many folks who are taking it.
