On November 4th, voters in California will vote on Proposition 8, the ballot initiative that could jeopardize the historic California Supreme Court ruling providing marriage equality for all couples.

Meanwhile, our right-wing opponents have already raised more than $16 million for the constitutional amendment to ban marriage for gay and lesbian couples in California. They've used this money to buy massive amounts of advertising –undoubtedly filled with lies and distortions about Prop. 8, about us and about our families– with the goal of eliminating marriage equality.

Between now and the election, voters need to see, hear and talk about the true harm Prop. 8 would have on same-sex couples and their families.  Although some of the polls show that Californians oppose (that is a good thing) Prop 8 by a margin of 52% against Prop 8 and 36% in favor of Prop 8, we can not cross our arms and let the other side gain any momentum.  And who really trusts those polls?

This is a historical election and it will define the future of this country.  I beg all registered California voters to please vote this November and VOTE NO ON 8 and to get the word out there, tell your friends, families, neighbors, tell everyone...and if you can, get involved, volunteer your time and donate if you can.

We are behind in fundraising by $6 million  :-[ !   Right now, the other side is out-raising us by a wide margin. Soon, their ads  will be on the air.

to find out more about how you can help you can check either one of these sites.

Thank you again for your unflagging commitment to marriage equality!
