You've Heard the Expression," Break a Leg"
« on: September 03, 2008, 08:39:47 PM »
Well I did it.  I fell and broke my right leg five weeks ago and have been in a cast ever since.  Unable to drive or do a whole lot around the house....

And if that wasn't bad enough Hurricane Gustav decided to visit Louisiana.....  I had company for a couple days....friends who live in Biloxi Mississippi left yesterday and reported very little damage to their house.  Thank God!  Those who lived in Louisiana were not so fortunate I fear.

Anyway these days I'm hobbling around the house with a cane....keeping one eye on the weather channel and the other one on the floor.  Please don't let me fall again....I can't afford to break anything else.  Talk about cabin fever...YIKES!!!!  And now they're talking about Hanna, IKE & Josephine......

Hey David,

Last time, it was broken toes, right? Now your leg? I'm sorry to learn this and hope you mend quickly. Are you doing bone-friendly things such as making sure your calcium intake is what it should be?

I guess you were answering another casting call?  ;)
