Some people use marijuana to help with appetite.  I don't know where you live, but that's what would determine if your doctor could write you a script or not.  And I don't know the process that's involved with that.

There is a pill called Marinol that's similar to marijuana.  I believe it has THC like pot does; not really sure.  It didn't work for me, but it does for some people.

Well I think Marijuana is helping me! I smoke because when I first found out I was sick I was down to 118... I should be at 150.. Eventually with out marijuana and stuffin my face constantly I got up to 142.... then I got all stressed out with my life and I went down to 133... and I started smokin Marijuana.. and it helps with my appetite for sure... but my doc said she would not give me a referal to get weed unless i was die-ing... so I just do it anyways and it does keep me eating... There is only one problem for me I am on probation for drug charges I got b4 I found out I was sick... so technically I am not supposed to be smokin ... but I haven't been tested for like 8 months so hopefully all will be good... I hope =) But it helps me a lot!
