kind of nervous b/c i performed oral sex on my positive bf without protection..stupid i know. he didnt ejaculate and lasted like 5-10 minutes if that. kind of nervous b/c havent had any sexual relations since finding out he was positive and now 4 days later..im getting that little tickle in my throat so i know seroconversion doesnt work that fast but hoping that its from some nasty germs instead of actually getting the virus from him =/

The risk of contracting HIV from performing unprotected oral sex on an HIV positive man is theoretical. There has never been a documented case of the virus being transmitted this way and I doubt you'll be the first.

If you want, you can test at the 3 month mark, but it's merely a technicality.

Also since you're the partner of an HIV positive person, you can ask these questions in our Someone I Care About forum, where you normally post. I've asked the Moderators to move this thread for you.
