Need help to help him..
« on: March 17, 2008, 09:20:23 AM »
hi, A freind of mine who recently found out is HIV+ has gone into depression and he already is an alcoholic but now he got worse. He is drinking a lot and he drives... he has already got into a few accidents because of his drinking. Now we worry that he might cause either someone elses death due to his drinking. When he is sober he regrets etc etc... but we are thinking of getting him into a rehab that can help him deal with both HIV and his alcoholism. Is there a rehab that can deal with both these problems at the sametime.. Prefarably in Canada. This is all new to me and I dont have much knowledge about rehabs as there are none where I live.

Sorry, I don't know of anything in the Canada area, but I would suggest you maybe going to an Al-Anon meeting.  Good luck.
