Stop Smoking Pill Chantex/ CD4 count Jump
« on: August 06, 2007, 03:25:45 PM »
My partner and I have both been poz since 1991. Here in the last couple of months, we tried the new stop smoking pill "Chantex". My Cd4 count was at 199, and Phil's Cd4 was at 400.
After being on the pill for one month, Phil's Cd4 count is now at 900, Normal... My Cd4 count has jumped to 400..
Both our Cd4 counts have more than doubled. We are both on diffrent treatment drugs.
The only new thing that was added or new to our daily lives was the stop smoking pill. I do not know if this had anything to do with the jump but it was the only change..
Has anyone had a  jump in Cd4 counts on this pill while on HIV treatment?
