What happened?
« on: June 25, 2007, 05:45:09 AM »
I am not very computer literate but I will appreciate if someone can explain to me what happened with the old website of aidsmeds.com. i mean I joined the forum in 20004. Sometime last year for maybe 6 months I did not read or open the website only to disover when I did in September that everything had changed tremendously.

The website had a new look. When I tried to log in my old username and password, I could not....and I had not change everything and start all over again.

What happened if someone can enlighten me? How can I get my old username once again? Thanks in advance, somehow, along the way something happened and I missed it!

Hi Apple,

In May of 2006 we changed forum software. The old forums remained online as read-only archieves for several months before they were taken down.

You could have used your old username when you signed up for your new account (we all had to create a new one) and if you really want to change back, send me a PM.

HIV is certainly character-building. It's made me see all of the shallow things we cling to, like ego and vanity. Of course, I'd rather have a few more T-cells and a little less character. Randy Shilts
