Sacred Cinema Cows
« on: March 19, 2007, 07:50:57 AM »
Of course there are none... but insomnia plus free On Demand movies led me to watch My Big Fat Independent Movie at around 4 AM.

It was pretty funny if you're an indie film fan with a totally sophomoric sense of humor.  I am one of eight people who matches that description in all of North America... so I can see why the film was a complete and utter bomb... but it was amusing in that "can you spot the reference?" kind of way.

They send up "Run Lola Run," "Clerks," "Amelie," and "Mulholland Drive" and "Pulp Fiction" in a manner much like Airplane did.

Good times.  But I'm glad it was free.

Your tastebuds can't repel flavor of this magnitude!
